Time & Location

Holy Cross Church Hall, Butts Rd, Chiseldon

About the event

Groundswell Agronomy service provides all sectors of agriculture with the solutions they need to maintain and improve farm business profitability in the face of a gradual reduction in BPS, growing environmental concerns over conventional food production, and a need to move beyond sustainable to a truly regenerative agriculture system with the key principles of permanent soil cover, diverse crop rotations and no-till.

During this workshop led by Groundswell agronomist Richard Harding, we'll get the chance to discuss the establishment and management of, for example, cover crops, herbal leys and mixed crops, as well as broader topics like carbon sequestration, soil health, and crop rotations.

We will start the workshop in the hall behind the Church of the Holy Cross in Chiseldon.  To reach the hall, turn off the main A346 Marlborough Road onto Butts Road and carry on straight when Butts Road bends to the left.  The hall is the next turning on the left, as indicated by the yellow pointer on this map (what3words - ///banana.loads.bonus), and there's plenty of parking.  Once we've finished the indoor session we'll move on to Overtown Farm, courtesy of John and Douglas White.
